Preacher Search

The Vancleave church of Christ is a small congregation of about 50-60 regular members, meeting in the small town of Vancleave in coastal Mississippi. We are currently led by three elders along with two deacons. Vancleave is a growing and safe community that we feel provides great opportunity for growth. Due to our location close to the Gulf of Mexico, as well as several rivers and bayous, there are a great number of outdoor activities nearby for most of the year, if one is so inclined.

Our evangelist of 12 years is resigning from that duty, although he will continue to serve as one of our elders. So, we are looking for our next full-time evangelist. Primary responsibilities will include preaching, teaching, and community outreach. Our next evangelist needs to be one who is sound in the faith, a student of the word, and who loves the souls of everyone he meets.

The church owns a nice brick house only a couple miles away from the building that is available if desired. Salary to be determined when we meet.
